Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club Interviews Kelly Rowland + Talks Keyshia Cole, Sexual Intercourse and More..

Picture

One by one Beyonce supporters are coming forth speaking out on the comments Keyshia Cole made via twitter surrounding her hit record Bow Down. First, the Dream said they he would not work with Keyshia out of loyalty to Bey and now Kelly Rowland wants the world to know that they are too grown to be associated with those types of behaviors.

You know what, do you have to hit somebody or give somebody words? Silence is the best power. Just keep talkin’. I don’t think that it’s important to respond back. We too grown for that stuff.

Kelly took her talents to Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club and dished on more than just the Keyshia drama. The “Kisses Down Low” singer was bombarded with sex questions between Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God in which she gave excellent “kissing down low” advice. The brown-skinned diva also dished on her upcoming album “Talk A Good Game” and so much more.

Interviews: Ciara And Future Relationship Still Going Strong But Remains Non-Friends With Rihanna

Picture

In a recent interview Ciara did with Dazed&Confused the singer openly expressed her sour emotions towards the name that was given to her "Princess of Crunk&B" explaining there was more to her sound then just that.

Still riding the success of her new song “Body Party” which was written by her boyfriend Future she discussed how much she loved working with him because he brings out her aggressive side in her music.

Read it below:

On not liking  the name Princess of Crunk&B:
I didn’t like being called the princess of Crunk&B, because it wasn’t my sound. I was the first girl to do that sound, but Usher did that sound too (in ‘Yeah’) and he’s not called the something of Crunk&B! [Laughs] It was really good to do something that was fresh, but there was and is so much more to my music than just one sound.

See more below:

On working musically with Future:
We’re on the same label, and they had always wanted us to work together. I think his approach to making music is very unique. He doesn’t approach it in the typical rapper way, and he can write real R&B pop melodies.

I love being aggressive at certain points in my records, and working with him helps me to tap into a different kind of aggressiveness, because he also has his own. It’s a different perspective. Everything happened very organically on this record.

Yesterday, while promoting her upcoming album “One Woman Army” set to hit stores June 4th she stopped by Philly’s Hot 107.9 to chop things up with Q. Deezy. The Atlanta native talked about the organic dynamic between she and Future and she tells us that she and Rihanna remain non-friends.

Kanye West might be the leading man in Kim Kardashian's life right now but Ray J wants Mr. West to know that he hit it first. The "One Wish" singer was so bold that he created a pix-elated photo of Kanye's baby-mama on a beach in a bikini and used it as his artwork cover.

In the lyrics he says:

She might move on to rappers and ballplayers
But we all know I hit it first.

I had her head going North and her ass going South
But now baby chose to go West

Yezzy is known for his notorious rants and expressing his emotions in songs so I can not wait to see what he has in store for us next. Ray better watch it!

Prior to Brandy’s brother making this song he had the twittersphere in an uproar a while back when Kim K. tweeted “Keep your life in a positive perspective. We are not defined by our past.” Ray retweeted it and wrote “LOL” shots fired or nah ? See the twitter exchange below:

The Dream Speaks on Decision Not to Work With Keyshia Cole on Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club

Picture

Recently the Dream hit up Power 105.1 FM’s the Breakfast Club Morning Show and revealed during his interview that he will not be working with Keyshia Cole right now because of the comments she made surrounding Beyonce.

"I’ve already done records with Keyshia but right now, because of what happened, I can’t. And I think she would respect why I can’t. I’d have a grown up conversation [with her] like, “Yo you’re talking about my family, like you can’t do that.” “I think Beyonce said what she wanted to say [with the record] […] She got something off her chest.”

A couple of weeks ago when Beyonce’s bold new single”Bow Down/I Been On” was released everybody and their mama had something to say about the track.Whether it be positive or negative.

So of course Keyshia loving to voice her opinions via twitter she tweeted:

Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh-t when convenient 2 [f-ck outta here] First “Women need to Stick together” now b-tches better Bow. Smh

Personally I can understand Keyshia's point of view however, she needs to be mindful of how her comments look to the public. First shots at Michelle now you coming for Beyonce so I'm guessing Kelly is next. Don't get me wrong I love Keyshia to death but your words should never hurt your hustle. Now you got people not wanting to work with you? That's crazy!

He's playing this loyalty card real close with Bey but  just how loyal were you to Christina Milian?..Im sleep though

Brandy Doesn’t Let Her Ego Stand In Her Way In New Issue Of Pynk Magazine

Picture

Brandy is somehow juggling a music career, acting career, motherly and fiancé duties. In the most recent issue of Pynk Magazine Brandy opens up about her career and personal life.

The “Put It Down” singer discusses what it feels like not to be recognized for her longevity in the game saying that she tries not to let her ego get in the way of that. The singer also describes how she manages to juggle so many things at one time including being a celebrity, mother and soon to be wife.

On how she feels about not being recognized for her longevity and being one of the top chicks in the game
Sometimes I agree with it because I know there are a lot of talented people that have shown me a lot of love on top of my fans really expressing their love for me. Sometimes I think your ego gets in the way because you know you want everybody to feel that way about you. You want to get the credit. You want to get the props but I try not to live in that space because I know it’s ego. I’m just happy with being me. I’m happy with being able to be so connected in my being that I’m able to express that in my music. There are so many people who get the credit but they’re not really connected to their music. I would take the honesty and the connection with my music over the credit any day…but both would be nice! [laughs]”

On the current state of R&B and who she would love to collaborate with
I’m not okay with the current state of R&B. That’s why ‘Two-Eleven’ was so important to me. I wanted to do an album that contributed to that genre of music. I think it was very necessary for the music industry and the hearts of people. As far as newcomers, I hadn’t really been paying attention because I was so focused on the album but I can’t help but pay attention to Kelly Rowland. I admire her so much and would love to collaborate with her. Beyoncé is phenomenal and Rihanna is amazing too.

On how she juggles being a celebrity, a soon to be wife and a mother
I don’t know! [laughs] It’s hard. I haven’t worked this hard in my life! My daughter has her own life now. She’s getting older so she has her own schedule now. Sometimes, I want her to travel with me and she’s like ‘no mom. I have a school trip I have to go on.’ [laughs] I have a great support system though. My fiancé, my mom and god-sisters they definitely help out.

On whether she would ever do reality TV again
You know, I think I did reality TV at the wrong time. When I was on [Family Business] I wasn’t as consistent in my career. I wasn’t connected to my purpose at the time. After that, I said I wouldn’t do reality TV again but there are shows out there now like the ‘Mary/Mary’ show that are good. I would consider it if it were centered more on my career.

Porsha Stewart Makes Her First Public Appearance Since Divorce Filing

Picture

Regardless of how it goes down life goes on

The new single housewife Porsha Stewart made her first public appearance on Wednesday, April 3rd since she received word on the internet that her husband Kordell Stewart was filing for a divorce.

The 31-year old painted the town in a flirtatious green party dress with a pair of metallic silver Jimmy Choo pumps. She was photographed on the blue carpet during Bravo’s Upfronts bash in NYC with the rest of her cast mates. Although the pictures of the Atlanta reality star reveal her gorgeous smile she admitted that it wasn’t easy.

On how she feels:
This is a very difficult time for myself and my family.
I’m just trying to remain strong. That’s all I can do and stay prayerful and lean on my friends and family.

On how she’s getting by:
Well, when you have strong arms and strong family around you, they cover you – that's what they're there for.
So that’s who I’m leaning on. And it’s really a blessing to see people, supporters and fans are standing up and just really showing me the love.

Meanwhile below is what Kim Zolciak had to say:

I would never wish divorce upon my worst enemy. If your marriage is not sound and strong, I do think there are problems. . . I definitely would not expose myself on television if [husband Kroy Biermann and I] were not in a really great place.

According to reports, Porsha Stewart will be returning to the next season of “Housewives of Atlanta.” Originally she decided not to come back due to Kordell not wanting her to but now that that situation is over and done with, the show must go on. The self proclaimed Black Trophy Wife was spotted leaving her NYC hotel today.  Check out the pics below:

Interview: Nelly Talks Relationships and Says “I Will Not Be Forced Into Marriage”

Picture

After 6 years of shying away from dating rumors between he and Ashanti, Nelly sits down with Vlad TV and gives an interesting perspective on industry relationships. The St. Louis native says that he will get married one day but no one is going to force him.

The rapper talks about the “faithful” card weighing in on the fact that if he has to question the relationship then it will negatively weigh in on the situation. That might explain his break-up with Ashanti and moving on with the beautiful actress Tae Heckard.

On industry relationships:

I think people see the relationships that industry folk have and they see the time, but there're not doing the math.  If you do the math on that time, you'll see that it equals out to something totally different.

On if he will ever get married:

Yea I think so.  But nobody is going to force me.  Nobody is going to rush me into anything.  Marriage is something you should do when you are ready to do it and you know this is everything.  I take marriage very seriously.  And I only know two ways of marriage.  My parents' marriage didn't last at all and my grandparents' marriage lasted 60 years.  I'm either gonna go all the way to 60, or I'm not gonna do it.

On being faithful:

I know me.  If I have any questions, I'm going to play on that and eventually that may weigh in on the situation.

On if he’s ever been close to marriage:

I don’t think you’ve been close until you’ve been engaged. (He’s never been engaged).

Beyonce and Jay-Z Celebrate 5th Year Wedding Anniversary In Havana, Cuba

Picture

I got a child with the child from Destiny’s child, now that’s a hell of a recipe.

Awww, our favorite couple was spotted out in Havana, Cuba celebrating their 5th year wedding anniversary. Bey was all smiles as she walked down those Cuban streets with her pink fingernails interlocked between her husband’s fingers while momma Tina was right over her shoulder.

Baddie resembled an African Queen while dressed in tribal prints and sporting what’s become one of her signature hair styles, block braids or as she would say “dookie braids”.

According to reports, they stopped at La Guarida Restaurant with their moms Tina Knowles and Gloria Carter in tow, for some Cuban creole while causing somewhat of a ruckus outside.

Throughout their 5 years of marriage Bey and Hov have become one of the most influential and favorable couples in the industry. Mainly because of their old school ways of dating while having strong morals and keeping their personal business away from the public eye. Keep it up you two we’re rooting for your marriage!

Melanie Fiona Covers Drake’s “Started from the Bottom”

It seems like celebrities are really into home videos nowadays. From Beyonce belting out 1+1 in her dressing room a couple of months ago to Ciara recently tearing down her latest single Body Party in her bathroom.

Celebrities are really using these videos  as a vehicle  to showcase their raw talent. With auto tune becoming a fad sometimes songs these days lack the true beauty of  good singer. Nonetheless, Melanie Fiona added two new videos to her Youtube Channel where she added her little twist to some of the hottest songs out right now like Wale’s Bad and Drakes Started From the Bottom.

Personally being a fan of Melanie I loved the videos. Not only did she sing her butt off the Toronto native did her own instrumentals and background singing and edited it perfectly right before our eyes.
If this isn’t talent I don’t know what is !!
