People all over the world have been effected by the verdict of the Trayvon Martin case, including celebrities. Over the weekend, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Mc Lyte, and Jamie Foxx all showed their support and devotion to receiving justice for the family of Trayvon Martin’s.

Power couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z joined thousands in New York City on Saturday during the memorial for the late Trayvon Martin.
The couple was joined by Bey’s mother, Tina Knowles as they walked side by side with Martin supporters in lower Manhattan. A few days prior to this event, Solange Knowles was spotted at a rally in Brooklyn at Borough Hall. Seems as though the verdict of the Trayvon Martin case has really inspired the Knowles family.
Reverend Al Sharpton also accompanied the Martin family at the memorial. He spoke on behalf of the Carter’s:
Jay-Z and Beyonce said they didn’t want to speak and they didn’t come for a photo op. Jay-Z told me, ‘I’m a father. Beyoncé is a mother.’ We all feel the pain and apprehension – the laws must protect everybody, or it doesn’t protect anybody … We do not come from hate, we come from love of children.
The memorial began with a press conference where Sybrina Martin (Trayvon’s Mommy) spoke to the crowd by saying :
George Zimmerman started the fight and George Zimmerman ended the fight. My son died without even knowing who his killer was … Today it was my son. Tomorrow it might be yours.

Meanwhile over in Chicago…
“When the verdict was read, I felt like we lost Trayvon Martin all over again“, said MC Lyte.
And in San Diego, though there to promote his up and coming role in the new movie The Amazing Spider Man 2, Jamie Foxx spoke at Comic-Con addressing the Martin Case. Foxx offered support to Trayvon’s mom saying:
She’s always been courageous in saying this has never been about race. She said it’s about 17-year-old kids. We have to protect our kids. So I stand with her forever.
JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON !!!!!!! REST PEACEFULLY!
